Welcome to DOCK, Our High School Youth Ministry Program!


  • The Mother of God Family of Parishes believes that young people are God’s gift to the Church; a gift that calls us into ministry to, with, and for our youth. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, we serve the youth of our parish and their families. Therefore, we empower young people to live as loving disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community and foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

  • DOCK (Disciples of Christ our King) is our Mother of God Family of Parishes High School Program which typically meets Sunday nights, 6:30-8:00 PM in the youth room in St. Charles School. Our theme is “faith in action.” We alternate our time together to include social, spiritual and service nights.  DOCK is a place where teens say they feel like they can be themselves. It is a place where teens feel seen, heard, and understood. We make it a point to show radical hospitality and inclusion. Teens come to DOCK when it works for them. It is not something where a teen has to come every week, although they are welcome to.  Friends are always welcome and do not have to be Catholic or MGFP parishioners to join us. We welcome teenagers from all schools/homeschools to join us as we journey in our faith lives together, grow in community and benefit from being a part of something bigger than ourselves, as we serve others.

Lucas Oil Stadium, INDY

WHAT IS NCYC?

NCYC is a three-day trip for Catholic high school students and their adult chaperones. Participants will experience prayer, community, and the transformative power of God’s presence. Large group talks & worship in Lucas Oil Stadium with 12,000+ other Catholics are very powerful! Teens last year said this was the best experience of their lives!

We travel as a group by bus to stay at the Westin Hotel that connects to the Convention Center. We have large group sessions in Lucas Oil Stadium in the mornings and evenings. During the days, teens are free to choose which breakout talks they want to attend in the Convention Center. Kids stay four to a room. We will have two adult chaperones for every 10 kids.

COST $550 (Includes $100 deposit @ registration)

  • Each teen participant will receive a $100 sponsorship from the Mother of God Family of Parishes

  • Each teen participant will be given thirty raffle tickets to sell at $10 each; giving him/her a potential to raise $300 off their total NCYC cost

  • Each teen participant is also able to write their name on any tickets they don’t sell
