Baptism
Infant and Young Child Baptism
Baptisms for babies and young children are celebrated during any weekend Mass (excluding Lent) or outside of Mass at 12:30 PM on Sundays.
Parents are asked to attend a Baptism Preparation Class prior to their child’s baptism. Classes are offered on the first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October, and December, immediately following the 8:30 AM Mass.
To begin the process, please contact Joe Ollier at 937-253-5171 x112 at least three months in advance of your desired baptism date.

Baptism for School-Age Children
Children who have reached the age of reason (typically age 7) are invited to take part in a special Christian Initiation program, designed to prepare them for Baptism and full participation in the Church. Parents play an important role and are actively involved throughout the process.

Adult Baptism (RCIA)
Adult baptisms typically take place during the Easter Vigil Mass and are celebrated alongside the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. Adults preparing for baptism—or baptized adults seeking full communion with the Catholic Church—participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
