Stewardship at Mother of God Family of Parishes

Stewardship, rooted in love, touches every aspect of our lives. When we align our hearts and priorities with God’s plan, we live as His disciples—drawing others closer to the Gospel through our words, actions, and generosity.

What is Stewardship?
In Matthew 22:34–40, Jesus reminds us of the two greatest commandments:

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart

  • Love your neighbor as yourself

Stewardship is our response to this call. It is the recognition that everything we have—our time, talents, and treasures—is a gift from God. When we receive from Him first, our gratitude naturally leads us to share these blessings with others, participating in the good work God is already doing in our lives and in the world.

How Can You Participate?
We invite you to pray and discern how the Lord is calling you to live out stewardship this year. Your faithful generosity allows MGFP to:

  • Serve our parish family and local community

  • Support ministries that form disciples and share the Gospel

  • Extend Christ’s love to those in need near and far

Together, your gifts—whether of time, talent, or treasure—help build a vibrant parish family where more people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and be sent forth to transform the world.
