Ascension Backpack Ministry

Back to school shoppers needed! 

Ascension's collection of school supplies for families served through Catholic Social Services and StVdeP continues throughout the year. 

As we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, we are running low on the following new school supplies: 

• backpacks

• pencil boxes and pouches

• composition books (soft bound, no spiral notebooks please)

• plastic 2 pocket folders (no paper folders please)

• expo dry erase markers

• pink erasers

• 1 inch 3 ring binders

• 6" blunt tip school scissors for K-5th grades 

• 7" blunt tip big kid scissors

• wide ruled filler paper

Donations can be placed in the collection box in the bride's room at Ascension, or email Tina Schlegel at dtschlegel@gmail.com to make other arrangements.
