FUD Family Unity Discernment Reflect Session

You’re invited! As part of an archdiocese-wide initiative called Family Unity Discernment (FUD), Mother of God Family of Parishes will host a Reflect session on Saturday, May 9 (8:45 AM-3:00 PM) at Ascension Campus, where members of the Family Leadership Team, Family Pastoral Council, and parishioners like you will gather, calling on the Holy Spirit for guidance, to prayerfully discern ideas about our potential use of MGFP resources which will best serve the mission of the Church in our area.  The meeting will be facilitated by representatives from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and is supported by Archbishop Casey.  Every family of parishes in the Archdiocese will be participating in a similar process over the next year.  The Dayton Deanery is the first deanery to take part!

This is not a day when final decisions will be made nor is it a town hall meeting. Instead, using the "Conversations in the Spirit" synodal method, participants will discern questions derived from prior analysis discussions with our Family Leadership Team.  The outcome from Reflect will lead to further discussions and discernment by the Pastor and the Family Pastoral Council, at the deanery level with other Dayton parishes, and will eventually be submitted to Archbishop Casey.
