High School Youth Ministry Presents: Pizza and Prayer!
The youth of today are longing for truth. They are finding that worldly pursuits do not fully satisfy the deepest desires of their hearts. Here at the Mother of God Family of Parishes, we understand the tremendous value of giving teens the opportunity to encounter the riches of God’s love along with providing the freedom for them to feel seen, heard, and understood.
There is also tremendous value in having faith-filled adults encourage and accompany youth in their personal faith journeys. We aim to facilitate encounter and deep relationship with Jesus. It is only through knowing our identity as beloved children of God, through relationship with Him and with others, that we can become who God created us to be.
This year we will be hosting “Pizza and Prayer” on Thursday evenings from 6:30- 8 p.m. at our St. Charles Campus. We will be breaking open Scripture, learning how to listen to God’s voice, and responding with joy. Our evenings consist of a meal, fun games, and good conversation. We value and encourage radical hospitality and inclusion to make a space where all feel welcome!
Location: Enter through the Walsh Hall entrance. We will meet in Walsh Hall, our new Youth Space for the ‘26/’27 school year.
