MARCH FOR LIFE & LIFECHAIN

October is Respect Life Month in the worldwide Catholic Church. The Mother of God parishioners are encouraged to participate in local activities, increase prayers for life, and take advantage of resources that share the truth and beauty of our Church teachings on protecting the sacredness of life at every stage, available at each parish resource display.

Ohio March for Life takes place October 3, at 12:00 PM, beginning at the Statehouse in Columbus.

This peaceful event allows us to publicly witness for life to our state legislators. For information on the March and Pre-march events, please see: marchforlife.org/ohio.

LifeChain takes place on Sunday, October 5, 2:00-3:00 PM.

This national, interdenominational event is a silent, prayerful witness for life. Locally, participants stand along Stroop Road in Kettering from the abortion facility to Far Hills Avenue holding provided signs and praying silently for a restoration of a culture of life. Mother of God parishioners are asked to fill the space from the corner of Far Hills to Delaine across from Town & Country (St. Albert/Ascension) or from Marshall to Benfield in front of Speedway (St. Charles), from 2:00-3:00 PM- then gather to end with a Rosary.
