Grades 6-8
Here in our Junior High youth programs, we believe that Jesus is the center of our lives & He desires that we live a beautiful, adventurous, and faithful life! Our events and programming seeks to create holy community for all Junior High youth in our family of parishes.
Events are always open, and there is no commitment to making every event, just come when you want to!
Everyone is welcome always & please bring friends from other churches and schools!

Junior High Programs
EDGE
Edge is our youth ministry program for Junior High students in the Mother of God Family of Parishes. These are casual gatherings after school where we have fellowship & fun. We gather on campus at each of our parish schools after school. All are welcome, all the time!
IGNITE
Ignite is our Friday night programming and events during the school year where we partake in a fun activity, eat a meal together, and share in faith. Junior High look forward to these nights more than any other!
Summer of Service are service events held throughout the Dayton area where students have the opportunity to give back to the community.

Just for Girls
Bloom Girls is an after-school ministry in the Notre Dame Center just for 5th-8th grade girls at Ascension School. It’s a space where girls can gather, build friendships, talk about real life, and discover their identity in Christ - all while having fun serving their parish community. Meetings are held once per month from 2:30-4:00 PM.
Challenge is a team-based and teen-led Catholic group for girls in 5th grade through 8th grade. It is designed to instill virtue, develop character, and encourage spiritual growth all in a fun atmosphere of weekly group meeting activities and apostolic service projects.
