We’re having an awesome summer full of fresh, fun things happening in our family of parishes, and we’re not slowing down! This year’s Family of Parishes Picnic is going to be the biggest and best yet, taking over two shelters at Delco Park on September 14, from 1 to 5 pm. We’ll be serving up burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and Kona Ice, plus there’ll be fantastic games, entertainers for the kids, face painting, giant bubbles, cornhole, and Bingo with prizes! (New Merch will be available for everyone!) But here’s the biggest news: we’re bringing in a Video Game Truck this year! So there’s absolutely no reason to miss out on the fun. Accessibility support will be available. And have you heard about the Human Slot Machine? You’ve got to come see it for yourself!

Q&A

  • This year’s picnic is all about community and caring for creation—it’s an eco-friendly event! Be sure to bring your own chair and extra non-alcoholic drinks to stay refreshed. And let’s make the table festive together: if your last name begins with A–G, bring a dessert; H–O, bring a salad; and P–Z, bring a side dish. Let’s come together, share generously, and celebrate sustainably!

  • Admission to our picnic is free!

  • Although the Mother of God Family of Parishes is hosting the picnic, it’s not just a church event, it’s a celebration for the whole community!

VOLUNTEERS

Parish Info Tables

Parish Info Tables are lively mini-fair booths where volunteers highlight their ministries and parish events. They double as information hubs for our parishes, helping volunteers answer questions, connect with parishioners, and inspire more people to get involved in our Family of Parishes.

Get Involved

We’re excited to bring families together for a day filled with games, music, food, and laughter,  and we can’t do it without amazing volunteers like you. Whether you’d like to help serve lunch, run games, assist with activities, or lend a hand wherever needed, there’s a spot for everyone. Plus, volunteers can earn community service hours and enjoy a fun-filled day with neighbors and friends.
